Pivotal Tracker (Nothing to do with irrigation)

My last entry talked about the development methodology,  SCRUM, that we will be using as we spin up the new web site. This time I want to talk about the web site we will use to help us implement that methodology:

Pivotal Tracker

No, this doesn't have anything to do with monitoring irrigation systems. Pivotal Tracker is simply an online tool we use to track the stories that we are implementing as part of the web site updates.

Not everyone has direct access to the Pivotal Tracker web site. However, everyone can follow the Twitter feed by following us at @BigIronDev . This feed is private so you will need to wait a bit for me to approve your request. Just click on the Follow button and, if I don't respond right away, send me an email at john.weeder@bigiron.com .

This is what the Pivotal Tracker web site looks like as we use it. The Back Log is the list of stories we are currently working on in this sprint. The Ice Box is the list of things which have yet to be approved. Things in the Ice Box will probably be assigned to upcoming sprints.

Here we have a new story that we are adding to Pivotal Tracker.

If you have questions or comments, please don't hesitate to drop me an email.
